Stephanie Bechtold
My
name is Stephanie Bechtold and I am the new Receptionist
at Amazon Animal Hospital. I have worked for
other animal hospitals before and I have to say
that here at Amazon, it is the friendliest, most
caring environment ever! I have a senior Golden
Retriever named Gus and a 4 year old Maine Coon
named Cleo. They are absolutely spoiled rotten
but isn't that what we do to our "fur babies"??
Speaking of babies, I am also the proud mother
of two year old twins. My daughter's name is
Abby and my son's name is Dylan. Needless to
say it can be quite hectic at my house! Please
never hesitate to call and ask me questions and
I look forward to meeting each and every one
of you, as well as any new clients! |

Kari Benney, Canine Trainer
Ever feel like your dog is out of control? Well
we have the answer that could set your mind at
ease, and her name is Kari Benney. Kari has been
working with dogs for over twenty years, and
was certified as a
“Canine Training Specialist,” while
graduating at the top of her class studying behavior
modification. She studied at Triple Crown Dog
Trainers Academy, which is one of the top trainers’
schools in the United States! Obedience training
is very important due to the fact that it can
create happy, well-mannered dogs which can form
effective communication. Kari’s technique
is very unique because she believes that in-home
training will be more successful. She believes
in this method because the whole family can get
involved, it is less stressful on your pet, and
allows your pet to have more personal attention.
Kari uses a clicker as one of her methods which
is a simple piece of plastic and metal that clarifies
in a dog’s mind what is expected of them.
She teaches basic obedience which allows the
pet to understand basic commands such as “sit,”
“down,” and “come.” Advanced
obedience is off-leash and allows fine-tuning
of the basic commands while giving those commands
in different locations so they will respond “off
leash,” with confidence. If this sounds
like something that you are interested in, don’t
hesitate. The faster you get started, the closer
you are to having a loving and affectionate pet.
